How Has Service Learning Affected Your Education and Your Community?
Kansas Campus Compact is excited to announce the 2009 Student Civic Engagement YouTube Competition. The subject of the 2009 competition is:
“How Has Service Learning Affected Your Education and Your Community?” Entrants are encouraged to examine the curriculum, extra-curricular activities, community partners, and other instances of service learning to depict the relevance, educational impact, and effectiveness of service learning on themselves, their peers, their faculty, and the community.
The winning entry will be presented with $500 and be featured prominently in KSCC communications, including the KSCC website. Entries are due by noon Central time, May 1, 2009 and winners will be notified and announced on May 8, 2009.
Please send your video to the Center for Service Learning as well for reflection component credit.
